The A-500 Spectrum offers best-in-class fuel efficiency, cooling capacity and temperature control. Motor-independent airflow into the cargo space ensures the desired temperature even at the rear of longer trailers. A two-year remote monitoring agreement is included as standard, allowing the unit to be controlled and monitored remotely. The A-500 platform is purpose-built for HCT trailers.

Fully variable airflow strikes the ideal balance between load protection and fuel efficiency. Smart energy distribution accelerates pull-down, and on multi-drop routes you can briefly raise airflow for fast temperature recovery after each door opening.

Class-leading cost-efficiency

Advancer is at least 30% more fuel-efficient than the market average and delivers a 30% reduction in maintenance costs. Its separate compressor and fan drive make it 40% more energy efficient than conventional generator-driven units, and the 3,000-hour service interval keeps it productive for longer.

Intelligence you can act on

A 2-year Connected Solutions contract is included, with access to the TracKing platform and the TK Reefer and TK Notify mobile apps. Proactive alarms recommend a 'next best action' based on Thermo King best practice whenever an issue is detected.

Robust, intuitive A-Series controller

A large full-colour display with icon-based navigation reaches any function in at most five button presses. The casing is fully submersible and IP69K-rated, and the controller supports 14 languages plus over a year of data logging compliant with EN 12830.

Hybrid-ready — access to low-emission zones

Advancer Hybrid combines diesel and electric and switches automatically between modes using geofencing — no driver intervention needed. Save up to 5,000 litres of fuel and 13,500 kg of CO₂ per unit per year, while gaining access to NRMM Stage V, PIEK and Low-Emission Zones.
