E-COOLPAC is a collaborative battery solution between AKSA and Thermo King designed for transport refrigeration. It's a zero-emission battery power technology that electrifies refrigerated trailers, trucks and marine containers. The system reduces fuel consumption, noise levels and CO₂ emissions while providing reliable power at low operating cost.

It fits hybrid, LNG, electric and diesel-powered trucks and trailers, and is retrofittable to existing fleets. Compatible with Thermo King CFF, Magnum Plus and SuperFreezer units as well as ISO 1496-2 reefer units from other brands.

E-COOLPAC powers refrigeration units without fuel or direct emissions. Low-noise operation grants access to ULEZ and LEZ areas, diesel-ban zones and PIEK-rated locations — for night-time delivery and city centres.

The battery delivers permanent back-up power and recharges quickly at low cost. Real-time state-of-charge monitoring keeps the operator informed, while reduced diesel runtime extends service intervals.
