The PALFINGER ST 18 TEC is engineered for 21–26 tonne chassis and lifts containers up to 18 tonnes in urban environments. Asymmetric telescopic arms make it easy to grip containers — even when poorly aligned — while an optimised weight-to-capacity ratio maximises chassis payload. The TEC configuration is adapted to the requirements of electric trucks and the latest safety standards: a two-wire CANBUS connection simplifies installation, the CONNECTED system provides digital access to device information and service status, and the ergonomic V Drive cab controller makes daily operation intuitive. A broad range of standard TEC features and retrofittable options improves productivity throughout the equipment's lifecycle.
TEC configuration ready for electric trucks
The ST 18 TEC is adapted to e-truck requirements and the latest safety standards. The standard TEC package includes a CANBUS connection, the CONNECTED system and the V Drive cab controller — and retrofittable options such as Silent mode and Rapid Motion improve productivity throughout the equipment's lifecycle.

Asymmetric telescopic arms provide comfortable spacing for gripping and handling containers up to 18 tonnes. This improves work speed and reduces problems caused by misaligned containers — especially useful at urban sites where containers can't always be placed optimally.
Straightforward mounting and simple service
A straightforward design and two-wire CANBUS connection simplify mounting for body builders. Bolted tipping hooks, an integrated front wall with plug-and-play accessories and CONNECTED remote diagnostics reduce service time and keep uptime high.
