The TZ12 is a Z-type timber crane with a 12-ton lifting capacity, available with three boom lengths: 8.6 m, 9.8 m and 10.9 m. The Generation 3 hydraulic system is optimised with larger pipe and hose cross-sections and finely matched dimensions — up to 12% faster operation with Load Sensing. EPSLINK, EPSCOPE and internal hose routing (HPI) protect the hydraulics in forestry conditions. Available with all four control methods (Classic Drive, Comfort Drive, Comfort CAB, TEC CAB). Designed for demanding conditions.
Longest reach in its class
The TZ12 offers three boom lengths — 8.6 m, 9.8 m and 10.9 m. The longest 10.9 m boom delivers class-leading reach, and the Generation 3 hydraulic optimisation ensures fast, precise movements even at long reach.
Smart Control & integrated electronic end stop damper
PALFINGER's new boom-tip control system, Smart Control, is available as an option. It makes crane operation easier, more intuitive and faster. An integrated electronic end stop damper reduces wear, and sensors can be serviced without removing the hydraulic cylinders.
The fastest in its class
Load Sensing (LS) enables up to 12% faster operation. Generation 3 models feature larger pipe and hose cross-sections, optimised hydraulic matching, and newly developed telescopic cylinders for fast, precise movements.
Protected hydraulic routing
Epslink, Epscope, internal hose routing (HPI) and outstanding stability form an ideal combination. The integrated systems protect against mechanical damage, particularly when working in dense forests.
Central greasing system
Greasing has never been so easy. The automatic system supplies all key systems — no lubrication point is overlooked. It extends the service life of bronze bearings and uses approximately 2 kg of grease per year (based on 1,000 operating hours).
