Q170Z
Q-series Z-Type crane — 17 tonne-metre capacity and 32 kNm slewing torque
163 kNm
Lifting moment (max)
9,6 m
Hydraulic outreach (max)
2 590 kg
Dead weight (7.9 m)
2 640 kg
Dead weight (8.2 m)
The Q170Z is the stronger version of the Q150Z — 17 tonne-metre capacity, 163 kNm of lifting moment and stronger 32 kNm slewing torque. Three boom lengths (7.9 m, 8.2 m and 9.6 m), higher 260 bar operating pressure. Same Epslink + Epscope + KTL technology as other Q-series models.
Q-series' strongest Z-type
The Q170Z delivers 163 kNm of lifting moment, 17 tonne-metre capacity and 32 kNm slewing torque — Q-series' strongest Z-type choice.
High 260 bar operating pressure
Higher operating pressure than the Q150Z enables heavier lifts on the same Q-series base.
Protected hydraulic routing
Epslink and Epscope systems protect the hydraulics in forestry conditions — the same class-leading durability as other M- and Q-series models.
Technical Specifications
The cranes shown in the brochure may be partly equipped with optional equipment and do not always correspond to the standard versions. Country-specific regulations must be observed. Dimensions may vary. Subject to technical changes, errors and translation errors.
Control Methods
Manual cabin
EPSCAB Manual (CAM)
Hydraulically lifted cabin with Parker F130CF valve — compact, direct control.
Electrohydraulic cabin
EPSCAB Electric (CAE)
Parker L90LS / IQAN valves — precise, smooth electrohydraulic control.
XL electric cabin
EPSCAB XL Electric (CAE-XL)
200 mm longer than standard, panoramic door option and improved workspace for the operator.
Side-mounted control station
Side seat HKR/HKL
Two joysticks and two pedals — a compact choice for tight spaces (right HKR or left HKL).
Standard Features & Technology
Stronger than Q150Z
163 kNm of lifting moment, 17 tonne-metre capacity and 32 kNm slewing torque — a stronger Q-series Z-type choice.
High 260 bar operating pressure
Higher operating pressure than the Q150Z delivers more power for demanding lifts.
Epslink + Epscope + KTL
Patented link-rotator, extension boom system and cathodic dip coating protect the structure.
Finite Element optimisation
Structures are optimised using Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis — durability and lightness combined.
Three boom lengths
Available with 7.9/8.2/9.6 m booms — a flexible choice for the application.
