The PK 480 TEC combines high lifting power with precise control at TEC's best — a powerful yet refined crane for demanding load handling. The lightweight, high-strength P-Profile boom enables vibration-free load placement and safe working at height. Continuous slewing (∞) combined with a 2-speed slewing drive (4.0/5.2 mt) provides flexibility — fast rotation for light loads and strong slewing for heavy ones. Power Link Plus tilts the knuckle boom up to 15° beyond horizontal, and Flow Sharing hydraulics intelligently distribute oil across multiple functions. 45.7 mt of lifting moment, 16,500 kg of capacity, 21.2 m of hydraulic outreach, 7.8 m stabiliser spread and 385 bar operating pressure — class-leading values for demanding precision work.

The stated outreaches are measured at a 20° boom angle and are therefore not maximal. When mechanical extension booms are used, the loads in the load charts must be reduced by the weight of the extension booms.
